When pre-screening, I get several hits on a name but when the profile was monitored overnight, no hits or less hits were returned. Why?
Pre-screening shows hits, but overnight monitoring returns fewer or no matches. The difference in results is typically due to different matching thresholds between pre-screening and overnight monitoring.
Pre-screening default threshold: 85
Overnight monitoring threshold: Often set higher (e.g., 90 or 95) by your organization’s configuration
Higher thresholds make the match logic stricter, reducing false positives but potentially excluding relevant matches.
If you need more flexible screening:
SILO supports custom monitoring worklists with different thresholds or matching rules.
You can assign specific profiles to alternate worklists without changing global settings.
