We’ve made several improvements to simplify and strengthen your beneficial ownership (BO) tracking and reporting in SILO:
🧿 Clear Justification for BO Designations
You can now capture why a person is identified as a BO—whether it’s voting rights, share ownership, or other control factors—using a required dropdown menu.
How this helps: No more guesswork or ambiguity. This ensures complete, accurate records with clear justification, readily available and easy to reference during audits or regulatory checks, saving you valuable time.
🧿 Report for Missing BO Justifications
A new report instantly highlights entities where a listed BO is missing the required justification.
How this helps: Proactively spot and correct these gaps before they become issues. This helps you maintain a robust compliance posture and avoid last-minute scrambles during examinations.
🧿 Report for Entities with No BO Listed
Another new report pinpoints entities that currently have no BO information recorded at all.
How this helps: Gain complete visibility across your entity landscape. This ensures no entity is overlooked, closing potential compliance blind spots and strengthening your overall risk assessment.
🧿 Automatic 'No Registrable Persons Identified' Label
When an entity is confirmed to have no beneficial owners, SILO will now automatically display “No Registrable Persons Identified” in the BO Register.
