Responsible Professional

The Responsible Professional is the internal staff member who has primary responsibility for managing the client relationship. This is generally the person overseeing the commercial side of the account and acts as the main point of contact for non-compliance matters. This field helps identify who “owns” the client relationship operationally within the business. This value is selected from a dropdown list configured in your site settings. If the name of the person you want to select as the Responsible Professional is not listed, SILO Support can assist. They will need to be assigned user right of Senior Manager or Professional. Both of these user access rights have no data entry rights but if data entry rights are also required, they can be assigned Data Entry user rights as well.

Compliance Staff Member

The Compliance Staff Member is the internal team member responsible for the client from a compliance perspective. This typically includes handling reviewing screening hits, ensuring due diligence is obtained, risk rating is assigned, performing periodic reviews. and ensuring the client meets all AML/CTF obligations in line with internal policies.
This field clearly separates compliance responsibility from the broader client-relationship responsibility captured under Responsible Professional.
This value is selected from a dropdown list configured in your site settings and will include all active users that are given Senior Compliance or Junior Compliance user access rights.

Introduced By

The Introduced By field records the external party that introduced or referred the client to your organisation. Examples include external introducers, intermediaries, partner firms, or professional advisers. Capturing this information provides a clear audit trail of how the relationship originated and allows firms to track introducer sources for oversight and reporting. This value is selected from a dropdown list configured in your site settings and is a list of Introducers/Referrers that has been provided to your SILO account manager or the SILO Support team to configure.

Corporate Group

The Corporate Group field is used to indicate whether the client is part of a wider corporate structure or group of related profiles. This allows related profiles to be linked together under the same group heading, supporting group-level reviews, risk assessments, and organizational visibility. The Corporate Group field can include a group of all employees or vendors. This value is selected from a dropdown list configured in your site settings.

Office / Department

The Office/Department field identifies which business unit, office or department that provides services to the client. Multiple office/departments can be assigned if necessary to a profile. This allows the ability to generate reports based on office/department including active clients reports. This value is selected from a dropdown list configured in your site settings.
